Yknow, considering how snow being part of my happy place is almost an in-joke these days, with the amount of the white stuff that we’ve been getting for the past two months you’d think i’d be in heaven. In fact, it is peaceful, in the moments when i really get to enjoy it. I just wish life would slow down a little so i could. I miss the more contemplative nature my life used to have. Well, i’ve been trying to wind things around so i can get back to that. Its part of my long range plan 
Considering that there is almost 8 inches of snow out there, its a good day to stay home if we can. I might have to run to the store around the corner today, but i dont think i want to go much farther than that. Watched Air ep 2 this morning, finally Beautiful stuff, i know this my fave show in a while (like thats a surprise)

Have you checked out the new Ah! My Goddess! TV series yet? I’m really enjoying that one. The pace is a lot slower than the OVA and really works well to fix manga plotholes while retaining the overall flavor of the work.
8 inches, is that it you lucky dog! We got hit last night too, except we have 13 inches. 13! Then they’re also talking about some sort of North wind. Oh well, snow gives me a lot of my insperations. I guess this is a perfect time to sing, “We come from the land of the ice and snow!” ^_^
Hrmm.. Air, never heard of that one. I think I’ll check it out. You should check out Beck, if you haven’t already. It’s in Japan only ATM, but its a very good anime about a group of school kids who, after meeting a foreigner, start a rock band.
You’re lucky you get SNOW. I live in Middle Tennessee (as in the middle of the woods), and we had an ice storm last month that left us with about 4 or 5 inches of solid ice all over the roads. The way it started out was at the beginning of the week, in the morning, it was about 35 degrees, but over the course of the day it dropped to like, 10. It was cold enough that when it RAINED, the water that hit tree branches, etc froze before it ever fell off of whatever it was on. So, by next day, we had a nice half-inch layer of ice on every tree and outdoor item. It was very beautiful, the trees looked like they were made out of crystal for about a week =) But on the whole it was not fun!
So far we have a few inches of snow, but we’re to get more. I now have good chili in my belly, and the house is clean. There’s something satisfying about that. Now I just have to take care of some other things and then it’s time to work on music.
I agree, AIR is doing really well so far, and I am enjoying Ah! My Goddess! as well.

And then the boys at my school throw it at me.
With the possibility of stones in it.
Actually, now I say that I’m glad it’s not snowing in England.
Roll on summer where I can wear my eyeliner without having to beware the odd freak rainstorm and end up looking like a bedraggled and annoyed panda.
I.e. not attractive and on the slightly jungle side.
There’s nothing so nice as an Alberta clipper…yeah right. We’ve had about 8 inches in Northern Ohio so far, and they’re expecting more snow. *sigh* Not very fun driving…

No snow in Oregon.. in fact, they’ve closed a lot of the ski slopes now its so warm…. bah.. I moved here for seasons… now they’ve vanished.

other than that i really do like snow and would be sad if i lived where we didn’t get any… ohio just seems to get too much… not as much as some though… i pity those with 12 inches…
