dead piro day

there just isn’t any fighting it today… ugh. Its kinda weird, i can draw just fine today, but the complexities of working out some baseline storyline elements that have to come out and be handled correctly in the next comic… ya, totally beyond my brain’s ability to work with today. It’s pretty sad when–

uh… ok, that was supposed to be a draft, that i’d finish when i got home. heh. lord, my brain, can’t even work the blogging software tonight. Gonna go curl up in my chair and draw.

*hugs teh Fred-sickie* You ARE sleeping properly, right? Maybe you should take a week off to recuperate — you sound like you’re worn pretty thin trying to stay caught up on everything — and instead post guest sketches and/or comics during that time. I’m sure there’s a bunch of your readers who’d love to help. What do you think?

    Mike on the front page!

yep, it’s true that many people would love to help…
But, sure what you need it’s to take a little vacation… sleep well, good food, and free time… this would be good for your health and your brain…
And trying to copy Chobits, (anime…) all I can tell you is…
    Fighto!!!! ^^

My spouse is trying to hack up all 98lbs of her through her throat when she’s not sneezing — still — so I can empathize.
Damn viruses are just getting meaner.

The local B&N/Starbucks (Hillsboro, OR) has Book 3 in the computer listed as in-transit to the store. They do a fair job of keeping books 1&2 in stock as well. I understand that while you’re still waiting for *your* Pile to arrive so you can ship the pre-orders — some people are unrightfully already perusing theirs…

aieee, the struggle… sanity fading… Ping… update Ping wallpaper.. yeah, thats it.

    Take care of yourself, man.

(As a sidenote–commentary on the new Saeko sketch: personally, I preferred the old style of eyes, if only for her. It made her distinguishable, but either way, she looks gorgeous.)

  6. poor, overworked, sick Fred-rin! get better soon!

^_^ i love the sketch of Junpei, it’s so dynamic! I’d love to see that in color, any one feel up to the challenge?

dude i always think you strain yourself with your c-strips i think you should do them weekly then they’ll be better quality and more thought out and thy mightn’t be story fragments because lets face it they don’t well as stand-alone comics anymore.

  8. I know your pain, I’ve just come out of two weeks of a nasty cold. At least it hasn’t gotten to your ability to draw; that’s a fantastic drawing of Junpei. Keep on rockin’ on.

“some people are unrightfully already perusing theirs…”
He he he. By sheer luck they had a copy in my local comic shop; although I’ve promised myself I wont start reading it ’till I get caught back up on my Uni work, speaking of which: back to work.

Oi… the sickness again… This time, it ain’t just you.

I think I got a slight fever, and my throat has been acting up, plus I got a runny nose. Blasted tennis coaches don’t give us a break… even in 40 degree fahrenheit temperatures…

Nice work on the dpd sketch of Junpei though.

*cough* back to editting Sunday’s comic for me… -_-

Man, we must be having a freakish-likeness day today. I’ve been sick since last Wed. night with this crappy cold. 101 degree fever seemed to want to accompany it as well, so I doubt I could draw as well as you can right now though. *laughs*
Get well soon to the BOTH of us. Heh.
