I just posted a random sketch from my notebooks - there are so many random sketches like this, and so many of them aren’t worth scanning, but this one isn’t bad, so i posted it.
I’ve been working on what was going to be mondays comic since early this morning, but it’s been slow going, mostly because i keep changing the script and i’ve already started over twice. Well, you can’t escape the fact that traveling messes up my comic production schedule, and this is just one of those times… i just don’t want to rush this one, i guess.

I’m guessing what Kimiko said in Friday’s comic was just to grab Erika’s attention… but that’s just a guess… i’d also guess that that was also a bit of stab at us that read what you said earlier, and posted replies to…
Still… If they did go to one, I reckon it was Kimiko’s decision… n_n

I like it. She looks like something or someone just caught her attention. I kind of get this “a day in the life…” feeling when I look at it.
Kimiko struck me as very surprised or awestuck in that sketch. Even a bit frazzled, like someone just woke her up by banging on a metal pot ^^;
I was mostly curiously following all the stray lines that showed up in that sketch while wondering how much of a cleanup would be necessary. I’m weird that way.
Nitpickification: The date on the sketch is wacky; it says 3/3/05 instead of 6/27/05.
But a good sketch. And I agree with Alexiel; she seems very surprised by something.
Kimiko is really starting to grow on me ^^ I like this sketch of her- she looks startled… and I’m seriously looking forward to the next comic.
man I would love to see Fred’s sketchbook. Just to see all the stuff that isn’t shown on here…
Now that you mention it… Yeah, she does look more surprised than curious… Gah… I need to study expressions a bit more… -_-;;

Speaking of Kimiko, I’m loving how your various plot threads in MT have all been coming to a head recently. The build-up is paying off nicely.

I think Gallagher-san dates his sketches based on the day/month/year he drew them, and uploads them on the site using that same timeline.

you’d find alot of scattered stuff in my book…pages of a comic, character designs, and commisions i do at Gaia Online. Nice funny stuff on the last few pages, Fred. Keep up the good stuff. :3

Fred, I just have to say that this strip with Kimiko and Erika is one of the loveliest I’ve seen you produce. Kimiko’s expressions are especially sweet, and Erika’s internal struggle really comes through.
