I’m really looking forward to getting through Otakon because honestly, i could use a break 
I’ve been double loading myself recently (and had two nights where i simply didn’t go to bed - not entirely smart) but i’ve been putting getting *some* sleep on the to do list. As usual, there are lots of things i keep forgetting about (i need to take care of some of them today) and its a comic day… whee.
Actually, there are some really good signs in my ‘productivity’ scale recently. I’ve been drawing a lot more detailed a lot faster than i have been in the recent past. I’ve been struggling less TO draw, also the ideas and organization for things has been flowing pretty well. What’s been killing me is that i’ve been spending bigger and bigger chunks of each comic day still working on ‘other things’ and not getting started till late. Once i get past Otakon (and a few other things) then maybe i can get started earlier… and i might actually be finishing comics on time for a chance. What a concept.
So far so good in this chapter. Chapter starts are always a pain because you dont have any of the inertia that you have towards the last half of a chapter. The chapter beginnings are always more about getting things into place for what happens next. Every ride requires some kind of wind up, if you don’t people get whiplash
The biggest problem i have right now is that i have not worked enough on the Naze Nani Megatokyo show for Otakon yet. I still have a lot to do, and i was supposed to have been able to finish most of it yesterday, but i had other fires to put out… i need to get todays comic under control so i can get to work on it. Weee…

I like the chapter so far. I thought that the beginning of it was very well done. Usually it’s best that you do one thing at a time(the results are usually better that way). Sometimes it’s hard to do so but don’t let it get you down or overworked.
I’m currently doing several things at once too. I’m doing art work for a amatuer pure ren’ai game, starting a webcomic/manga site with a friend, and I’m about to move to a different town. So I feel your pain but it’s still fun.

i dont know what you’re planning for otakon (aside from live music, woot), but i’m sure it’ll be great. i dont mean to senselessly praise you, but, knowing you, you’ll be able to pull it off.

I don’t know how you stay on top of it all, but you do manage somehow. I am far from taming everything that I wish to get done.

hey! im a fan of megatokyo and i just wanted to know if you’re still going to do ‘warmth’ because it seemed lyk it would be an interesting story but u havnt seemed to updated about it in awile so i’ve just been wondering if you were still planning on doing that anytime soon

Otakon will be work, but try to have fun with it. I think I’ll be sure to have fun.
We just need to figure out a way to clone Fred, then make many of him. Then he can be a Okatan, work on the Nazi Nani, work on the comic, maintain the site, be the superadmin, be Sarah’s hubbie, sleep, eat, and other stuff that he’s struggling to do. (I’m on a roll now…)
Or… we can just sit here, point, laugh, and make fun of Fred’s misfortunes… then buy tons of MegaGear stuff to say thanks.

The comic is going well so far (I really like the new one). Just try not to explode or go into a coma from the stress and workload!
Hmm, did you modify your drawing style? I liked the former face contours better…

I love the Dom and Ed stuff. Frankly, I can never get enough of them or Miho.
I’m really looking foward to how the story is being played out. I’m really happy you included Tsubasa recently… I’d wondered what he was doing in the US…
I’m really dissapointed that I will not be able to make it to Otakon this year… T-T *cries*
Well, keep up the good work, but try to get some sleep! We can survive a week’s worth of DPD and SGD… really!
