Well, i feel a little better now.

Yesterday was the first day in two months that i didn’t go anywhere near t3h factory, didn’t think about Megatokyo or Warmth or MegaGear or anything… it was my first real day off, and it was something i think i needed pretty bad. Of course, i didn’t just laze around and goof off, we worked on cleaning up the house, i redid the kitchen, cleaned stuff out, had to clean up a ghastly mess in the garage (something had dragged a big Morning Dove in there and proceeded to feast on it - the scene was like something out of a horror movie - yuck) etc, then plopped down in my chair and continued to watch some anime backlog.

There is so much to catch up on. Thankfully, most shows aren’t really worth watching in the long run, but some i’ve been wanting to watch and are just now getting to. I’m most of the way through Rozen Maiden right now, and… yes, Suigintou ownz me (like that’s a surprise) and the more current anime Shuffle!, which is surprisingly good for an ero game conversion. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure out my fave character in this series :P Oh, and in case you forgot, Erika was wearing a Shuffle school outfit way back in chapter 5 around the time of the fanboy riot :) Shuffle was a new game that was just coming out back then - you can check out the Navel website for more info on it and thier latest game Tick! Tack!.

Ah, the goodness. Now if only i was thinking about Megatokyo. I need to get my brain back on that, asap. If nothing else, i’m more creative when i at least have some kind of input going on, things get stale when im busy and am not watching anything, i’ve found…

Glad to hear you got a break from us nutcases. :) Funny how being immersed in one’s work gets completely counterproductive sometimes.

p.s. You know that you add to my/our anime backlog every single time you post about a new series you are into, right? Man, I’m still getting through “Air”. Whew, I’ll never catch up. :)

    Hello Fred.
Just wondering where I could send you a fancomic I did of Megatokyo. My sister just loves your site and it would be great to see it at Fredart.com
    Thanks.

Yeah, I kind of took a break from music this week and concentrated on going back to school and stuff. This week I’m going to put some work into one of the tunes from NNMT, and hopefully I should have it ready for release by the following week. Now if I can only shake this stomach bug.

Cleaning the house is considered a break? o_o

Well, it’s always a good thing to relax. =)

A change of routine can be just as refreshing as anything else, actually. That’s why going and doing something for vacations works so well…not that you aren’t doing anything, but you’re doing something different. My dad would always comment that he enjoyed his time in his woodshop, that he found it just as relaxing as a vacation. (He’s a pastor)
ANYWAY, glad to see you’re able to unwind some and get caught up on some leisure-time activities, Fred. As always, I think you do some of your best work after the ‘extra time’ phases, though I always enjoy your work. Do whatever you need to do to get things done!
