This drawing doesn’t really feel all that risque, but i guess it has elements to it that would make it such. Once again, just one of the random drawings that i produced in my week of being laptop-less. I’ve been toying with saeko’s character design and things about here because much like many of my other female chracters, i’m finding that i’m having trouble ‘finding’ her, and this is just one of the drawings that is going into that process of ‘looking’ for her. I barely touched up this drawing (just some spine shadow on the left side) and left the texture of the pad in the drawing. I kinda like the rough, sketchbook feel of this one.
I like the feel of this picture too, although it’s not quite what I expected, based on first-impressions. Hope your ’search’ goes well. =)

Saeko, Warmer: Oh, man, this isn’t just warmer, it’s…she’s…smoldering.
She’s looking at you, but keeping her face and body slightly averted. She’s frowning, just a bit. She is not just undressing; she’s showing herself to you, and she’s not sure how you’re going to take it. She’s not sure this is the right thing to do, not sure of herself, not sure of you.
She means business, this one, and you’d better not fumble.
For this moment, her eyes hold yours, daring you to break her gaze, to shift your glance, even for the merest flicker.
For this moment, she wants you to watch her judge you, to wonder, to await her pleasure…. She wants your breath to hold and your heart to stop….
In another moment, she’ll decide. In another moment, the shirt will come down, or not.
In another moment, she will decide, as the fox to the lion, yes, yes you may look at me. Yes, you may touch me. Yes, you may take me…but she will never, ever, say…you will just have to wait, and watch, and know the right moment when she gives it you….
In another moment, she is yours, but at this moment, you are hers, utterly, and you damned well better not forget it….

Hrrm… I do like this one… just one -minor- nitpick…
About half of the time I look at the picture, that vertical(ish) line to the left of her mouth somehow throws the picture way off and bizzarely reminds me of a Piccasso for half of a second. Then my brain kicks in and tells my eyes they’re being stupid.

Where I can’t say I don’t see where it could be considered risque, when I saw this one I didn’t think it was to begin with. I think if it was more on the risque-side, there’d be more details on her chest. /
Regardless, thank you, Fred. You’ve given years of inspiration towards my own goals of starting up a webcomic of my own, or, at least a gallery of pictures. This just fuels the inspiration more and I never felt I should say my thanks until now. /

It may or may not be Saeko (since we don’t know your current impressions of their personalities) but its a fiery bit of work. One of the better “hot girl out of snow” pics I’ve seen from you
nailed the face proportions well and the anatomy seems to have depth (shoulder positioning, etc).
offtopic: Shuffle 10 is a sad Shuffle — they really drive home that all these girls are good worthy people and that incoming pain is going to be unavoidable.
Huzzah for more Junko goodness! I wonder what it is with the forums blowing up before a strip with her is posted… perhaps the database knows something we don’t? But back to the strip, Junko sure knows what to say to get results doesn’t she? A little righteous anger at the jerk for not noticing all the helpful things she’s done for him. She calls Largo out and Largo finally notices the arcade. I just wish that he would notice that somebody cares enough to pick him up out of the gutter.
Really like this drawing of Saeko. The hemp paper really makes her stand out.

Interesting sketch. Unlike Refugee, I’m getting the feeling that she’s suddenly unsure that what was about to happen was what she wanted - or possibly her partner felt unsure and backed off. I wonder just what you were projecting into her expression when you drew it.
