I don’t really get sick that often, at least not in recent years. The only real problems i have with schedule are being overtired and trying to do too many things. Last night i really thought i was just massively overtired, but after trying to get going this morning… ugh. Fall head colds suck, they really do. Feel like my whole head is in a fogbank, even though outside the sun is shining and it’s a beautiful fall/winter day.
Luckily, i’ve managed to get a lot done this week. The new MegaGear store is almost ready to go - if you have ever built an online store you know that this is no small amount of work. We have a few small surprises for the store we change over to the new store, not as much as i would have liked - after all, i’ve been spending my time doing the store not new merchandise - but hopefully you will all like the stuff.
I really feel like going back home and laying down, but i’m past the point of blowing off this comic and need to finish it
It’s turning out ok so far, too. Believe it or not, i like seeing the finished comics as much as most readers do.
Blarg. Down with head colds!
Get some rest and get well soon!
Thanks for persevering, Fred.
feeling a little better now, esp now that the drawings are done. Not sure what was up with me, but it seems to have passed a little.
Hope you feel better soon.

Fred, maybe it’s stress related or something.
I wouldn’t let my guard down’t just yet. Sometimes those colds are sneaky little things.
*shakes fist at sneaky colds*
Hopefully that’s all that is and you can enjoy the rest of the day. (It’s really nice out here in Toronto too so I see what you mean!)
See.. when you’re not genki and have a “sad girl in snow” outlook .. the germs sense that and attack.
Nice to see Miho clarify that she’s really upset but is responding intellectually with that spectacle.
Last frame — Erika’s Happy Fun Smile wins the day (do not taunt Happy Fun Erika). Its beginning to look like Dom has the hots for Erika in a masochistic way
Granted its not *really* necessary here, but I’d like to see you go back to exploring frameless and overlap scenes … the “9 frame” look gets really static after more than one or two strips. Yeah, it’d take longer but when you do it the results are “mangaka-riffic” (ouch).
Yeah, I was sick for a couple days this week as well. I’m glad that I usually don’t get sick for an extended period of time, but it still sucks.
Hope you feel better soon fred! I had a cold too a few days ago. Are you going to be putting more of the Largo and Erika situation in soon?
You get better too quick. I’ve been sick since last Wednesday… by tomorrow, I should be at full health.
I’m sorry to hear you’re sick! >< I’m sick too though, so I know what you’re going through. Get well soon!
I had the most horrible case of bronchitis that lasted for four weeks, the runny nose, sore throat and fever was gone after 3 days but the constant coughing fits (especially at night)were horrible.
Hope you feel better soon Fred.
huh, could be stress related, could just be one of those things, I seem to notice whenever someone settles down to begin drawing, and needs to finnish it, they always seem to fall a little ill, happens to me, happens to some friends of mine.
Anyway I call it pre-work syndrome, its your body trying to get out any viruses so you can work without your nose dripping on the page…
Well its either that or you should consider investing in a pair of slippers.
