convention stuffs
I’m a little concerned that i feel as tired as i do today. Friday wasn’t too bad here at Acen, and things have gone fairly smoothly so far (with the exception of me forgetting to put two boxes in the van with some of the merchandise. geh. The dealer room opens in about a half hour here, and i’m sitting here working on drawings for ‘monday’s’ comic. It’s an easy one for me as far as script goes, but the drawings… yeah, taking a while.
Coming off of finishing the book and rolling right into Acen… i suppose i should have known, there just has not been the raw time to DO everything. Hearing from lots of exasperated readers again, but hopefully when i get back and get things rolling again, i can get back on proper track.
ok, i better get going. whee

well, I hope you have a great time for the remainder of the Con, Mr. Gallagher ^__^ take your time with the comic, we can all wait… if you keep pushing yourself with all of the cons, books, and comics, you’re going to get sick. And that’s never good.

Burnout is never good for a comic (online or otherwise). Enjoy the con and use it as a breather if you need it. We’ll wait, because waiting for a good comic is like waiting for Christmas mourning, never a bad thing.

More than a few comics miss a regular update the friday before a con, even more miss monday.
Perhaps you should consider preparing two DPDs or guest strips for con weekends,as they can be done weeks/months ahead of time.
Of course, you will always try to get a comic done anyway. ^^. It never hurts to be ready for when things don’t go so well.
Good luck with the comic, and don’t forget to have some fun while you’re there.

I and probably the majority of your fans would never be exasperated at you for taking your time. People need to learn that good work takes time sometimes. The fact that you’re drawing while at ACEN shows how dedicated you are. Don’t let the whiners bug you, you do good work Fred.

Palmer: It use to be #megatokyo on irc.aniverse.com but I haven’t gone there in ages. Oh, bringing up how much of a fan you are of Megatokyo wasn’t a very popular topic.
