Well, i honestly think i got off pretty easy with respect to getting my wisdom teeth pulled out. Obviously the day of procedure i was totally useless (man, those medications really mess you up) and the rest of the week wasn’t too bad. I’ve been trying to be very careful with it and honestly there has been little pain, so i don’t think it could have gone much better. I’d like to start eating more normally soon, you can only each so much mushy food 
I apologize for dropping this blog here over the past few weeks… when things are clicking along smoothly i like blogging here. You can usually tell when things have gone to hell because this site falls silent It’s been an odd weed to be sure. The cats are doing ok - if you remember, last week one of them gave us a bit of a scare, but he’s doing ok now.
Hopefully i can get my act together this weekend and get back on track and finish this chapter off properly. In two weeks i’m looking at going on a week long book tour… some of it is still tentative, but i’ll have something difinitive on that for monday.

if you really want those pain meds to fuck you up, try reading douglas adams right after you wake up from the procedure. pain meds, the remnants of anestesia AND the thoughts of a very, very strange man. feels like living in the sixties.

Wisdom teeth.. =_=” I had those taken out back in 8th grade @_@ they had to cut open the gum and take them out shard by shard. I have no idea why, but my cheeks were quite swollen after that xD

Yeah, it’s not a fun procedure. I had mine yanked out about a year ago. What made it worse was that one of them had to be chissled out of my jaw since it was burried under one of my other teeth. Hope ya feel better soon bro.

ok nonsense aside, dont worry about the comic and focus more on yourself. your health and welfare takes priority. Trust me we may bitch and moan but we’ll still be here when you get back…so take a vacation to hawaii! (lol, fanboys are gonna kill me)

=_=” … hope you get back onto soilds soon ^ ^ ….. i know how pain killers can be a bitch…i had a leg operation and had to be in a cast for 6 weeks and every morning, afternoon , evening i had to down like 3 monster size pain pills…they were like fricken chewable tablet size….(lol listen to me complain.) anyway in short i been there and my advise is to take it easy… your on pain pillz.. relax…miss a few comics if you like but just take it easy…for in reality if you tried to pull something out like doing a new comic…. the world would experiance what pain killa’s do to web artists.. lol : P

And I enjoyed fridays comic, the art on that issue is amazing. I was like O.o wow! The detailed art in this issue really caught my eye.

Had my wisdom teeth pulled a few months ago and my cheeks were swollen for at least two weeks post-pulling. I think it took two and a half weeks to get back to solids.
why do you (who ever you are) keep posting those useless/junk links? freds might get irritated with that just so you know.
Eep! Wisdom teeth are mean…I only got to have one pulled out at first, it impacted and was horridly painful. Those pain killers are a doosy. –My family thought it was hilarious though.
Lovled the angry Piro and I’m already feeling bad for him with that ‘dirty look’ that she shoots him in the second to last panel. Can’t waite to see what that one is for. Should be interesting.

haha, funny, I just got my wisdom teeth pulled last week! the pain wasn’t too bad for me either - the worst part was the stuff vicodin did to my system. couldn’t eat anything ‘cept the mildest, softest, startchiest, unacidic stuff. after that I’ve been savoring every bite of food - ’specially fruit and meat - I take, haha.
man, i hate comment spam. It’s such a fucking pain in the ass. Took me 20 minutes to yank it all out. It always seems to hit when i forget to close a few of the topics. Lame doesn’t begin to describe the waste of time such things are…
I had my wisdom teeth out the day after you did Fred. Mine went pretty easily as well and was eating pizza 3 days after having them taken out. Everyone says I was really lucky that I had virtually no pain. A little soreness here and there but nothing advil can’t take care of. I guess I got lucky with the medications too, I was back to ‘normal’ within about 4 hours of the procedure. However I have to say that all my wisdom teeth were showing so they didn’t have to do any cutting or anything, just grip and yank, still nothing I wanted to be awake for though. ^_^
