What a difference a year makes. . .

It’s amazing how much time babies take up in the first few weeks, till you learn how to multitask better. You sort of have no choice, and i’m getting there but jeeze, everytime i turn around it’s something else (in one instance this morning, i had to change my own shirt as well as Jack’s outfit - something he seemed to be quite proud of ^^;;)

Today is Black Friday again, and you may remember this rant from last year. Funny, we weren’t getting much sleep last year either, but for totally different reasons. Needless to say we weren’t going out at 3am to wait in line for any Black Friday specials this morning. Hell no.

Though I have a feeling i might be doing it next year… ^^;;;

I’m working on a christmas ornament for this year, as well as some dog tag designs to go with the zombie ranger shirt i’ll be posting probably tomorrow in the MegaGear store. Ugh, so much to do.

You can tell i’m a positive thinker though, because i went and started the downloads for the Clannad episodes that came out since Jack arrived. Haven’t watched a one of them yet, but maybe at some point i’ll be able to…

It sounds like life with Jack is fun :p Reminds me of the first weeks with my niece… good times ^_^

  2. Shane Says:

Sounds like life is so much fun. It gets better when they can talk! ;) Enjoy the months they can’t. ^^

  3. Rei Says:

Glad to see you guys in such high spirits! Enjoy the fact he can only crawl now. When they start walking (>.> and soon after running) they’re wicked fast and nearly impossible to catch without running about the whole house first. ^-^ besta luck to you both. Happy Turkey Day!!

  4. Momo-chan Says:

I’m glad you’re having a good time with him. Say hi to your family for me. You’ll be wishing he was still a baby when he grows older. X3 Hope he isn’t a handful when he’s a teen!

  5. Greg Carter Says:

Kids are really fun once you learn how to juggle them. I mean your time. Um, juggle your time with them.

Start baby-proofing everything now because once they are mobile it’s too late.

  6. Bram Says:

    Good luck with jack!
I also hope you get some time to watch clannad since it’s really worth it. The first “arc” is almost over it seems so you’d probably want to watch it in one go anyway. Not that you’ll probably get the chance for though ^^; good luck with it though!

  7. danihana Says:

Take your time with everything. One of your first priorities should definitely be your little bundle of joy.

  8. Keiichi Says:

Fred, I can only speak from experience with my niece Hannah, but every single second is precious with young’uns. Their laughter is the best sound in the world. Make sure Ickle Jack laughs a lot.

All the best from the AmeCon crew (^_^)_b

  9. Kraco Says:

Clannad isn’t a bad choice for the first show for you to watch together with your son. Not at all. Even though I have a suspicion he won’t get most of it out. But at least 12 years from now you can tell him Clannad was his first anime show (when he wants to start to watch the Naruto equivalent of the future).

I’m soo happy for you guys! Learn to appreciate him every day because they grow up fast!

It does sound like loads of fun, but there’s a kicker.

I get irritated when a comic doesn’t go up on time. Don’t get pissed, there’s a point.

I’m transferring duty stations soon, and won’t be online for three months. Made me realize no one has the time to do everything that needs doing at once. The other fans may not agree, and you don’t need me to tell you, a chunk of us won’t be too upset if you still needed time for Jack.

Keep up the m4d d4d/artist work. Tis amazing.

  16. xiayi Says:

boo, watch something thats not produced by Key and doesn’t have anything to do with games! =P

Oh and congratulations (kinda late lol)

Okay, I’ve got that out of my system. Congrats on teh kidling, Fred! I’m still a kidling myself, so I don’t know if I can give you any adice. I can only say this- starting the kid on Clannad, eh? He’s following in Daddy’s footsteps. ^_^

  18. AngelieseaRae Says:

Aw, Cool. Lol. I don’t blame ya for the black friday stuff. Well I’m good at advice if ya need it. I’m only 15 so far, but I’ve been told I seem older. ‘Grats on the baby. Your going to have so many wonderful memories with your son. I can tell you right now that one day you’ll see a reflection in him(if you don’t already). I think it’s mighty cool of you to post awsome work while handling a child. I love your art. It l20×0l2z. Such a wonderful role model you are! :] Best wishes!

  19. Evan Says:

Well Im sure you’ll find a way to get through it all. I may just be 15 ( and not have to deal with a cild, taxes, job stuff, and probably more) but even when things get hectic no mater who it happens to they can always get through it. And besides if things get to bad you could alway pass out….. Ok mabynot a good idea but you wouldnt haver to deel with anything and people would feel sorry for you…Ok ill shut up now

  20. Dez Says:

Hey know it’s way late but many congrats to you and Sarah! I’ve been reading since the beginning and I just want to say I’m happy for the both of you. Only other birth I’ve been this excited for was Teddy Lupin, but then again I’m as much an HP lover as a MT lover. Best of luck with him- if I lived closer I’d offer my babysitting services but alas I don’t and there’s no way on this earth I’d advise bringing a baby to raise here in Vegas.

    Re: MacBook revitalization

I’ve just retired my 7 year old PowerBook. The new MacBook I own has 4 GB RAM and a 250 GB Internal HD …

Hiromi’s older MacBook has a red shell, and mine is blue …

And never mind people being grumpy you’re focused on baby Jack. Your priorities are 100% okay with me.

  22. RayPenbar Says:

Actually, I wouldn’t mind if you are too busy and just did updates on your baby… Lol. But something just to keep the readers updated, either comic wise, or the situation wise for that matter.

  23. Sakura Tenshi Says:

    Lolz.

You’re doing really good, I mean if you can find the manga in North Carolina heck yes it’s awsome.
I go to lots of libraries just to see if your books are in there and to answer the long answer short.
    YES THEY ARE IN THERE!!!
You are famous, but…..what I really really want is that Junpei Ninja sweater.
