alive and wordpressed
Yay! it is indeed alive 
The web guys have managed to migrate all the old movable type stuff to wordpress here, and while it will probably need some tweaks (actually, we’re looking at revamping and rebuilding the entire fredart site) it’s good to have it back up and online.
This is really just a test to make sure it is all working properly, which it does indeed seem to be.

Actually, I just set up Wordpress (with Comic Press) to archive my comic as of last night. Previously I was making a static page for every single comic which got to be a pain not to mention messy. Now things are working much better and uploading a comic is easier.

Nice to see the blog back up and working again and can’t wait until the new FredArt site is complete.

I’m a huge fan of word press (I use it on my website). Its a good solid system that is easy to customize with plugins and themes. There are some pretty good Gallery systems, my favorite (the one I use) is NGallery with the Highslide plugin.
I look forward to see what theme comes up here other then the default one

When I was at Datamost, I had been given Todd Rungren’s old Apple Graphics Tablet II to do game graphics on. Though when it broke - I used a Kaola to finish art on Cohen’s Tower.

yeah wordpress is pretty nice. i ended up writing all my own templates for displaying my sketchbook / future comic. nice thing about wordpress is upgrading / administration is always really easy.
