want :)
One of the things i’m looking forward to when Jack starts getting a little older is playing with Legos again. Legos were, of course, one of my fave toys when i was a kid. I haven’t built anything in many years, but it’s not hard to be inspired by some of the things that people build. We’re a few years before these kind of Legos are anything less than a massive choking hazard.
This is a Lego set that i must have. Pictures of it leaked today. It’s not out yet, but you can probably guess why i want it: 4999 Vestas Windmill set
Lego, of course, deny’s all knowledge of this for now, and even asked some sites to remove the images (though it’s a little late for that, cat is long gone out of that bag). I will be keeping an eye out for when i can order one tho.
Just need to find a place for it near my desk… somewhere Jack won’t be able to reach it. For a few years. ![]()

I was totally a Lego freak when I was little. It was pretty rare because I’m a girl. Me and my sister use to get the girly sets they use to make, and haven’t put out since 1996 :/ Legos is geared towards only boys now D:
I have a big bin in the attic filled with our blocks and sets. And all the now-rare girly blocks and palm tree parts XD

I’d still be into lego’s if they weren’t so expensive. Every time I see a set I’d want to build or do something with I’d notice the price tag and have to leave it on the shelf. First thing I’m doing when I graduate from college is getting a couple of sets and going to town.

I hear whispers of Circuity and see Haibane speeding past this on bicycles. Where are the Haibane with this set, doggone it? It’s blasphemy, I tell you! Heh. Seriously cool, though!

Awesome! xD These are the lego sets that interest me :3 The lego sets of movies and such don’t really appeal to me as much =[ I like that original designs!
I have a giant bookshelf/storage system FULL of legos xD I love them so much. It's a timeless toy =]

Ooh, cool! =D I had a hospital set of Legos when I was a child. I was never patient enough (pun not intended =D ) to follow the directions and make the building, but I did manage to make the ambulance a few times. THAT was cool.
You must know, Fred-san, that I was traveling through the desert between Southern California and Arizona this last Christmas, and the trip took us through this valley there are hundreds, if not thousands, of wind turbines. I immediately thought of you and ‘Circuity.’ I even tried to explain ‘Circuity’ to my mom over our fast-food lunch in the truck stop, but it lost a lot in translation. *g*

Heh. One of my best friends in highschool was told to write a report on cathedrals, and he asked if instead of writing a report, he could just build one. Anyway, he built a freaking DOMED CATHEDRAL out of legos…. it was epic.

Lego’s are the perfect toy. It’s been so long since I’ve used ‘em, but seeing that picture of the windmill makes me want to build something again. I need to stock up!

Seems only for the Vespa folks.

Like Sparky said - this is for Vespa only, not for sale to the general public. The instructions to build it will probably be posted around like usual, but don’t expect to be able to get the set itself.

I love Legos!
Unfortunately, the one set I MUST have is $400!

Lego would probably sell more if they kept the prices as cheap as they can, while still making a profit.

I’ve always had a little passion for the Lego collection and would spend every cent I had to getting a colletion…Since i had recently moved and of course gotten older my mother made me part with them…but I always remeber waking up one morning and head straight for the Lego table ^^

When I was a little kid, I was more interested in building with toothpicks and white glue. I think I saw on TV that someone built a model of the Empire Building in toothpicks (this was back in the 1970s). My parents had no problem giving me toothpicks, white glue and shirt cardboard to get started. I just couldn’t have a hobby to cut the toothpick into smaller pieces. That severely limited what I could do with, and I later gave up.
