the l33tness in a cordless mouse. poor me cant have that luxury even though my laptop has a virus that stops the touch screen and keyboard from working and th only way to get it back on again is to unplug the power cord and wait for it to hit low battery

Speaking as a Logitech tech support guy, I really like this small receiver, as we get loads of calls from people about lost/broken/stolen receivers, and they often get cheesed off if I can't send them a replacement.

Still, cabled mice and keyboard are the best for reliablility I reckon.

Try using the tilt wheel as forward and back "button", that's a lot more comfortable. I mapped the forward and back buttons to volume up/down, but i almost never use them.
I bought this mouse about 6 weeks ago for my laptop and it's really awesome :)
