Most of the illustrations are often expressive pieces that are in a lot of ways character development exercises. Drawings and sketches that are more story development exercises are a little different because they will often be part of a narrative that you guys might not be fully familiar with. This is an example of that - mostly because you have not really seen any interactions between Junpei and Komugiko's daughter Yakugashi. Even so, it's not hard to imagine what it would be like, i figure - and this was a neat sketch i did when i was developing this chapter. What is going on here? Not going to say (nor will I say this is actually something that will happen). It's an exploratory illustration, and kind of a fun one. The fun bit is to imagine that this is after Yakugashi had made unflattering comments about Junpei's choice of hair color - which he has proceeded to wash out. I will let you amuse yourself with thinking about what she might be saying to him here.
