Dance of a Dangerous Eight-Tail

This took me a lot longer to produce than I thought it would. It didn't really come out the way I was thinking it would, but it's still interesting. Even the linwork here is watercolor, and its on a sheet of old Arches cold press watercolor paper that is from my stash of paper from when i was in college (so its like 25 years old). I wasn't getting quite the depth I wanted from the watercolor, the layering wasnt going as well as i hoped - and I ended up using colored pencils to add some texture and definition. That said, it actually came out not too bad. I feel really challenged by the watercolor thing, which is not a bad thing :)
